Our story | Meet the founders

We built the system
I wish existed from day one.

I know the work because I’ve lived it.

I tried the tools. I patched the gaps. I was still disappointed.
We built VowProof around what stationers actually do.

A stationer’s experience.A systems builder.

A decade

Creating custom wedding stationery

7 years

Design + print production experience

Built together

With an idea created at the dinner table

How VowProof began

Dinner, with
a side of
proof rounds.

A stationer. A software engineer.
Very specific dinner conversation.

A note from Tracey

Over the years, I kept tying a CRM, proofing tools and spreadsheets together, hoping the next setup would finally give me an efficient workflow and a polished client experience. I was disappointed every time.

The generic CRMs I tried didn’t understand how a real stationery project moves from booking to proof rounds to print. I was still the one filling the gaps and making it all work together.

Naturally, Sam heard about it over dinner. A lot. I brought the stationery frustrations; he brought the software brain. Those conversations became VowProof: a CRM built around a stationer’s actual workflow.

Home is part of our story

At home on
the farm.

A family. A studio. A business built together.

Our roots are on the family farm atop Jameson Hill in New York’s Hudson Valley. It’s where we’ve built our home and creative life together, and the place that gave Jameson Hill Designs its name.

At home, we’re also parents to two boys. We’re building VowProof alongside family life, which is a pretty good reminder that a business is only one part of a full day. We want the work to feel easier to manage, so there’s room for the people behind it.

I’ve lived the work. We built around it.

I know what slows a studio down.

I wanted an efficient workflow and a polished client experience.
We built the stationery tools and the CRM to work together.

01

The feedback is everywhere.

The email. The text. The note on the PDF. VowProof puts comments beside the design and keeps revisions and signed approvals with the project. The approved file locks.

02

The addresses changed. Again.

Another guest correction after you’ve formatted the list. Clients can update details in the portal, review their envelopes and confirm the layout before you export a matching print-ready PDF.

03

The project lives in too many places.

A CRM here. A proofing tool there. A spreadsheet for addresses. I was the connection between them. VowProof brings the booking, proof rounds, guest details and client experience into the same project.
